Greetings from Valery Gazzaev, Chairman of the Committee on Issues of Nationalities of the State Duma of the Russian Federation

On behalf of the deputies of the State Duma Committee on Issues of Nationalities the Chairman of the Committee Valery Gazzaev addressed greetings to the organizers, participants and guests of the General Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly:

“For our multinational Russia, the issue of preserving and strengthening interethnic harmony has always been one of the central and important issues. It is in our diversity that the unity of Russia lies. For many centuries, we have together cherished the interethnic and interreligious world.

An important role in the implementation of the main tasks set in the State National Policy Strategy of the Russian Federation is assigned to the institutions of civil society. The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly does a lot to preserve interethnic and interfaith peace, harmony in the multinational Russian Federation.

I am sure that the events will allow us to exchange experience, determine new ways of development and outline the main areas of cooperation to harmonize interethnic relations."

Valery Georgievich wishes the participants in the General Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly fruitful work and good mood.
