On July 22, 2020, the Education Export Centre, with the strategic support of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, held the second Global Russian Education Day (Global RED) online.
Universities from Russian cities: Moscow, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Tyumen, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Syktyvkar made presentations during the event.
The Global Day of Russian Education was broadcast on three platforms: www.globalred.ru, YouTube and Facebook. This allowed providing the coverage and guaranteeing high quality broadcasts.
Active work was carried out during the preparation for Global RED to attract recruiting agencies and potential applicants to participate in the event.
The marketing strategy was implemented by the organizers through the use of Internet marketing tools and with the active assistance of an international team consisting of representatives of 47 recruitment companies from 19 countries. During 2020, these recruitment companies completed a cycle of training on admission and training in Russian universities at the Education Export Centre, so they competently provided potential applicants with advice on training opportunities in Russia, invited them to participate in the Global Day of Russian Education. At the end of the event recruitment companies helped potential applicants make a positive decision about studying in the Russian Federation.
According to the collected objective data, the participants of the live broadcast were 514 unique viewers: representatives of recruiting companies and potential applicants.
After the event, the Education Export Centre and its regional partners will provide a full range of effective measures aimed at submitting applications for training in Russian universities by potential applicants in accordance with their choice.
