The First International Educational Tour on Rural Development | June 01-06, 2022

June 1 - 6, 2022, the International Educational Tour "Heritage of Eurasia: Cultural Practices of Rural Areas" will be held on the territory of the Udmurt Republic in the village of Sharkan (Russia).

The general program of the event is aimed at involving rural areas of the regions of Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in the development of the socio-cultural potential of local communities, training rural leaders in modern technologies for organizing cultural practices. The format of the weekly seminar includes lectures, practical classes, workshops, discussions, and business games. During the educational tour, trips to the rural areas of Udmurtia that implement socio-cultural practices, exchange of experience in preserving the cultural heritage of the peoples of Eurasia are planned.

Also, the event will include an international round table with representatives of state and municipal authorities, public associations, activists implementing sociocultural practices and programs for the integrated development of rural areas on the example of the Udmurt Republic, the Republic of Mordovia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic. Participants in the form of an open dialogue will exchange views and experience on key issues of forming the prospects for the Eurasian partnership, propose new forms of interaction and determine the role of intersectoral, public-state cooperation in these processes.
