The chain of events of the film "Nartai" takes place in Germany and Kazakhstan in 1991. By a combination of unfavorable circumstances, Edik Petrov, a Russian tightrope walker who dreams of living in Germany, hijacks a T-72 tank heading to the USSR as part of the Western Group of Forces, along with its driver, senior sergeant Nartai Sapargaliev. Nartai really wants to go home. While the command is thinking about how to get him out of Bavaria, Nartai is not sitting idle. Bright and eccentric, he makes friends in a foreign land and now and then helps everyone who crosses his path. Three strangers met and became family forever. Three destinies, three love stories, three homelands… or one for all three?
The screening was attended by representatives of the Kazakh diaspora in Egypt, who received the film very warmly.
