The film "The Adventures of Little Bakhi" produced by the VGIK-Debut Production Center received an award of the XVIII Kazan International Muslim Film Festival.
Narges Abyar (Iran), a member of the jury of the Kazan Film Festival presented the award in the nomination "Best Screenplay for a Feature Film". Theater and film actor, director, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Alexander Galibin thanked for the honorary award and said that the premiere of the winning film in this nomination took place within the KMFMK.
The film includes three short stories about a boy from a Dagestan village. The surprisingly adult character of an eight-year-old child brings a lot of trouble to the family. But thanks to him, Bach wins where adults give up.
Actors of Dagestan theaters played in the film, residents of the village of Chokh also participated in the filming. This is a family movie - both a lyrical story with deep reflections and an adventure comedy with subtle inner humor.
The film release will take place on October 27, 2022.
