Eurasian Youth Assembly: A New Trend - Media Volunteering

On March 1, at the Moscow Economic Institute (MEI), within the V All-Russian annual scientific and practical conference “Information Security and Children”, a round table “Media volunteering - an innovative resource for social activity of children and youth” was held.

The Head of the Department of the General Secretariat of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly on Youth Cooperation, Marianna Grigorovich, took part in the round table on the part of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly of Youth.

“We are seeing a new wave of informed content on social media. A generation of socially responsible bloggers increases. Now organizations need to declare more that they are open to media volunteering and broadcast their ideas and values in order to interest young people and support the phenomenon of media volunteering’, - says Marianna Grigorovich.

The moderators of the round table were Larisa Gorbunova, Vice-Rector for Research of the Moscow Economic Institute (MEI), and Khmayra Zagladina, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Head of the Centre for Socialization, Upbringing and Additional Education of the ‘Russkoye Slovo” Publishing House, Editor-in-Chief of the popular science magazine “Teacher's Club”.

Remind, the Eurasian Youth Assembly and the MEI have reached agreements on the mutual provision of information support for on-going projects, including scientific and practical events and MEI competitions.
