The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly takes part in the Bishkek Investment Summit

On December 8, 2022, the Bishkek Investment Summit started in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan).

Within the summit, the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly holds a panel session “The Greater Eurasian Partnership: From People’s Trust to Economies’ Trust” and a media forum “Eurasian Media Space. The Role of Information Policy in the Promotion of Eurasian Integration Projects (Eurasian Film Academy, Eurasian Film Award, Eurasian Media Agency)”.

The participants of the panel session “The Greater Eurasian Partnership: From People’s Trust to Economies’ Trust” were greeted by the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly Andrey Belyaninov.

The event brought together representatives from Germany, the Czech Republic, Bahrain, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

Among the speakers of the panel session: Sergey Glazyev, Member of the Board (Minister) for Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Member of the Supreme Advisory Council of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly (Russia); Stanislava Rousova, President of the Open Doors of Europe Foundation (Czech Republic); Stanislav Aranovich, President of the All-Russian public organization "Investment Russia" (Russia); Mikhail Fedorov, Deputy Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, President of the ANO Center for European and Asian Studies, full member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Vice President of the Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists (Russia); Aiylchy Sarybaev, Rector of the Kyrgyz Economic University (Kyrgyzstan); Roman Barfuzs, Statutory Director of BBMPI a. s. (Germany); Nursulu Akhmetova, General Director of FORESIGHT, ex-head of the department of financial and economic analysis and development monitoring of the President’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, and others.

Summing up the results of the panel session, the participants emphasized the importance of developing modern approaches to realizing the potential of cooperation between the countries of Eurasia in modern conditions and noted the need for trust of the countries of the Eurasian continent for strategic economic integration.
