On June 1, 2023, the IV International Children's Congress (ICC) will open its work. The goals of this public organization are to support talented children, comprehensive assistance in their upbringing and development, as well as assistance in realizing their creative potential.
As part of the congress, there will be held a press conference with its participants:
- Vladimir Vikyu, President of the Public Movement "International Children's Congress", lecturer at the Faculty of Arts of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Head of the Ivanovo Textile Industry Competence Center, President of the “Fashion 4.0” Festival of Young Designers;
- Andrey Belyaninov, Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly;
- Alexandra Ochirova, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, Co-Chair of the General Council of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly;
- Grigory Ordzhonikidze, diplomat;
- Alexey Eliseev, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Lomonosov Moscow State University.
This year the International Children's Congress will host 120 delegates, children aged 5 to 14 from Russia, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Mongolia, Kenya, Uganda, China, UAE, Bahrain, Djibouti, Syria, Sultanate of Oman, Botswana, Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, India and Egypt.
The ICC aims to bring together all concerned regional, national and international entities to enable the full emergence of groups of gifted children, both nationally and internationally, and to generate future circles of global cultural elites for the sustainable development of humankind.
The annual work of the organization consists of a series of diversified cultural and arts events, identifying the main candidates for the MDC congress delegates on International Children's Day on 1 June.
Congress mentors: outstanding cultural and art figures, teachers, scientists, journalists, poets and writers. Congress guests: ambassadors and consuls of the participating countries, representatives of national, international institutions and public organizations, representatives of the media.
The program of the Congress, along with events for delegates, includes the following events for officials and guests of honor:
Opening ceremony, including an informal meeting with ambassadors, representatives of educational and public organizations of the participating countries (June 1, 17:00) and a Gala concert dedicated to International Children's Day. Leading children's groups of the Russian Federation, creative folk groups of the participating countries will take part in the concert (June 1, 18:00).
