On July 5, 2021, the First International Session "Eurasia - Dialogues about Happiness" took place. The event was held online. The organizer of the event is the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples' Assembly".

Andrey Belyaninov, Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, addressed the session participants with a greeting. More than 40 speakers from different regions and countries took part in a large-scale conversation about happiness. All of them noted that the topic of happiness is one of the most important in the whole world. People talk about happiness, look for and find new methods to achieve it. During the session, the participants formulated answers to the key question: how to change the attitude towards happiness in Eurasia, create and support a community of people who shape happiness around them?

The session consisted of two parts. In the first, experts and speakers were looking for answers to questions that worry many people in the world: what is happiness, what constitutes this concept, and shared their practices. The second part was called "My Special Happiness". It was dedicated to the problems of people with disabilities. Parents of special children gathered on the discussion platform. They shared their experience of a happy life despite illness and hardship.

The session was moderated by Marina Volkova, Head of the Department of Happiness. The conversation about happiness caused a great response among participants from different countries. Discussion of issues, exchange of contacts, proposals for cooperation and even new initiatives were discussed in the chat of the session. The session participants will share their impressions with our readers. Ahead are new projects that will make people happier in different countries.
