Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly Andrey Belyaninov and President of the Foundation “Centre for Business Development and Cooperation with Russia” Serge Phocas (West Africa, Benin) signed an agreement at the Assembly's headquarters in Moscow on October 7, 2020.
The text of the cooperation agreement notes the importance of developing communication platforms at the international level in order to establish and maintain a constructive dialogue between expert communities, public organizations and government agencies from African countries, as well as to convey an objective and multilateral perception of the world.
The purpose of the agreement is to expand and strengthen international cooperation, as well as to exchange accumulated experience and information in the following areas: cultural exchange, educational programs, development of youth projects, creation of mechanisms to support multilateral interaction of public organizations, measures to stimulate multilateral socio-cultural communications.
After signing the agreement, Serge Phocas, President of the Foundation “Centre for Business Development and Cooperation with Russia”, expressed confidence that African countries will be able to develop multilateral cooperation with each other and with the countries of Eurasia more effectively thanks to the Assembly.
On September 21, 2020, Serge Phocas took part in the online event of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly on the occasion of the International Day of Peace; he spoke about the activities of the Centre headed by him.
