The Department of Happiness of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly took part in a Video Conference devoted to the Launch of the “People of Artek” Action

"People of Artek" is an International social action. Its task is to popularize the world-famous camp in Russia and abroad. Recently, a video conference held on the occasion of the launch of the action was attended by representatives of the Department of Happiness of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.

“As part of the contest, 12-17 years old high school students and foreign students are invited to conduct research in their country about a person who has been in Artek. Also, participants can make research on the symbols, songs of Artek, analyze changes that have occurred over 100 years. And then, present information about Artek and the results of their research as part of the “Artek Lessons” at schools for elementary school students,” said Roman Romanov, coordinator of the “World of Opportunities” project, who had previously proposed holding this action.

Also, participants can take part in creative nominations: prepare a video clip "Artek in the fate of man", posters, drawings, and so on basing on the materials of their activities.

United Russia also launched the “People of Artek” website in Russian and English. From March 20, it will open registration for educational institutions and participants.

"Artek" is in this camp where people from all over the world gather, so the “People of Artek” project is of particular importance.
