Through the centuries, through the years - remember!
About those who will never come again - remember!

On June 22, at 4 a.m. (Moscow time) members of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Council for Spiritual Culture took part in the International commemorative action and laid flowers at the Memorial to the Panfilov Heroes in Volokolamsk.

On a hill near the road at the entrance to the village of Nelidovo there are six figures of miraculous heroes, ten meters high. The faces of the soldiers are turned to the west towards a huge field, along which Nazi tanks were moving in 1941. Six figures represent the multinational composition of the Panfilov Division.

The memory of those terrible years will forever remain in the hearts of people who lived together in a single country, who went through all the hardships of a terrible war, who survived and won.

Representatives of all 15 republics of the Soviet Union joined the online action. The “Requiem” by Robert Rozhdestvensky was recited in 20 languages of different nations.

Our duty is to keep for present and future generations our memory of the lessons of history, of the great and eternal striving of all peoples for universal peace. And our memory of those who gave their lives for the sake of life!
