Thailand considers the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly as a platform for dialogue.

Thailand believes that the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly is an important platform for dialogue and interaction. This was announced by the Thai Ambassador to Russia, Sasivat Wongsinsawat, at a meeting of the General Council of the International Union on Friday.

“I see the great constructive potential of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly and see it as an important platform for multilateral dialogue and interaction between people from different cultures,” - he said.

Sasivat Wongsinsawat stressed that the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly has great potential and inexhaustible resources, not only natural, but, most importantly, human.

“Over the years of my diplomatic career, I have become convinced that contacts between people and mutual understanding are a solid foundation for international relations. The expansion of dialogue and interaction within the Assembly will lead to further integration both socially and economically,” - the diplomat added.

In addition, the Ambassador noted that Thailand looks forward to concluding a free trade zone agreement with the EAEU and sees great opportunities in it.

“We see that the agreement is beneficial not only in terms of trade and investment, but also expanding opportunities for business contacts, business communities, and also provides an opportunity for our peoples and the younger generation from various spheres to interact with each other,” - he said.

The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly is an international union of non-governmental organizations and citizens with an active life position, who share and promote the ideas and values ​​of Eurasian integration, protection of peace, strengthening friendship, harmony, partnership and good neighborliness among peoples.
