Bashkortostan will host the General Assembly and Assembly Days in July

The Days of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly and the General Assembly of the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations will be held in the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan in the city of Ufa in July 2021.

The decision was made during an Extended online meeting of the General Council of the Eurasian Peoples 'Assembly on January 28, 2021. This meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Head of the Representation of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in the Republic of Bashkortostan (Russia) Andrei Nazarov.

Recall, the General Assembly is held by the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations every four years. The start date of the event is preliminary scheduled for July 3, 2021.

The Republic will host the World Folkloriada the dates with the Days of the Assembly. The Assembly delegation will take part in Folkloriada.

According to the Chairperson of the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities Margarita Bolycheva, they plan to present the EURASIADA - the largest First Eurasian Games within the Assembly Days. EURASIADA is planned to be held in Ufa in 2025. There will also be conferences in marketing and international business standards, a press tour of the tourist sights of Bashkortostan for the regional and international press.

During the meeting of the General Council, Andrei Belyaninov, noted the effective work of the Representation of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly in the Republic of Bashkortostan and made a proposal to appoint Andrei Nazarov the Deputy Secretary General. The decision was approved unanimously.

“The election of Andrei Nazarov as Deputy Secretary General allows a more ambitious approach to solving the tasks facing the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly,” stressed Andrei Belyaninov.
