The EAEU Business Forum "Integration" held a week ago in the Russian capital was evidence of confidence in the integration processes in the post-Soviet space, said Andrey Belyaninov, Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly.
He, in particular, believes that an important component of the event was the coverage of all problematic areas of Eurasian integration, what happened not least due to the presence of the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich and the ministers of the aforementioned Commission, each of whom highlighted the theme supervised by him.
“One of the topical issues in the EAEU today is mutual settlements between States. For some reason, they are still in dollar terms. Something must be done about this,” Andrey Belyaninov added.
In addition, in his opinion, in the Eurasian Union, for general integration, the presence of a reinsurance company means a lot, but at the same time, a Eurasian leasing company is needed, as well as a joint transport and logistics company and a number of other structures that can maintain up to the mark Eurasian integration. The forum was organized by the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on complex issues of Eurasian economic integration, modernization, competitiveness and sustainable development, “Alpha Corporation” ANO to promote the economic activity of entrepreneurs. At the plenary session, the Chairman of the EEC Council, First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev, member of the EEC Council, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Igor Petrishenko, as well as Director of LVO LLC (Republic of Belarus) Oleg Kondratenko, Head of Rosstandart Anton Shalaev and others.
