On December 9, 2022, a plenary session of the Bishkek Investment Summit was held in Bishkek. It brought together representatives of public organizations, business, science, government, political and public figures from different parts of the Eurasian continent.

The event was moderated by Danil Ibraev, Chairman of the Presidium - President of the EAEU Business Council, President of the Kyrgyz Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

The speakers at the plenary session: Andrey Belyaninov, Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly; Daniyar Amangeldiev, Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan; Rae Kwon Chung, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate (2007), Artem Chaika, President of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs; Vasily Tarlev, Chairman of the Board of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

Danil Ibraev expressed special gratitude to the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly before his speech:

“I would like to give the floor to a great friend of the Kyrgyz people. Mr. Belyaninov did a lot before the entry of Kyrgyzstan into the Eurasian Economic Union, so that the approaches that we formed were heard in terms of their logic and validity. I am very grateful to you, Andrey Yuryevich, for always supporting us.”

In his speech, Andrei Belyaninov noted the importance of supporting state-owned companies:

“I was pleased that the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan will give guarantees to investors. The state-owned companies that were nominated by the prime minister could expand the investment gate if they were seen as an additional element of the state guarantee.”

The Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly also noted the importance of economic cooperation outside the state:

"It would be great if Kyrgyzstan began to actively enter the market of external borrowing."

Andrey Belyaninov paid special attention to the "green economy". According to the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly, it is not effective:

“I am deeply convinced that the theme of the “green economy” is a fraudulent scheme, an absolute global scam that will not bring anything useful to countries. The whole world was fighting AIDS, where did it go, it was the same conspiracy, the same financial pyramid to distract people from really pressing problems. When we talk about the "green economy", we do not say how much it costs to mine lithium, to manufacture batteries, which pollute nature many times more than the current economy. Before embarking on a “green economy”, everything must be carefully calculated.”
