Andrey Belyaninov met with Vladimir Shamanov

On January 18, the Secretary General of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly Andrey Belyaninov met with the President of the All-Russian public organization "Russian Association of Heroes", Hero of Russia, Colonel General Vladimir Shamanov.

Russian Association of Heroes supported the activities of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly to preserve historical memory.

The meeting emphasized common interest in preserving the tradition of holding the International Film Festival "VICTORIOUS TOGETHER" named after Vladimir Menshov in Sevastopol and the Republic of Crimea. There was made a decision on the participation of Russian Association of Heroes and personally Vladimir Shamanov in the events of the upcoming XVII Film Festival in May 2022.

On the example of the establishment of the International Association of the descendants of Panfilovites, the meeting noted special relevance of the work on the establishment and activation of international associations of the descendants of military units. Support was given to the proposal to create an International Association of Descendants of the Airborne Forces with the participation of the command of the Airborne Troops.
