Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Russian Federation will take part in the General Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly

In 2017, the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly gathered more than 2,500 participants from 67 countries at the First Congress. The congress established the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations and Experts "The Eurasian Peoples' Assembly" and adopted a Resolution that supported the idea of ​​ the Day of Spiritual Harmony, Friendship and Cooperation of the Peoples of Eurasia to promote integration processes on the Eurasian continent, expand and deepen contacts between people of different countries.

More than 800 members of the Assembly - representatives of non-governmental organizations from 45 countries will take part in the General Assembly in 2021.

We have already received confirmation of the participation of Professor M. D. Lamawansa - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation, concurrently accredited to the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Other guests are expected to attend at the General Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly. We are glad to meet with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Russian Federation. Mr. Shafqat Ali Khan was appointed as the Ambassador of Pakistan to the Russian Federation in March last year.

Also our invitation was accepted by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Russian Federation Mrs. Gulnara-Klara Samat.
