The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand welcomed the participants of the General Council meeting of the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly

In his speech, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Russian Federation, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Uzbekistan welcoming and thanking the participants of the General Council meeting of the of the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, Sasivat Wongsinsawat noted the important role of Eurasia as a continent with great potential and rich resources.

Mr. Sasivat Wongsinsawat emphasized that the Eurasian Peoples' Assembly is a very useful and solid platform for a wider dialogue and interaction between different peoples, cultures and confessions:

 “I am convinced that closer dialogue and interaction between our peoples will lead to ‘further integration’ both socially and economically. Speaking of economic integration, I would like to emphasize that Thailand looks forward to the early start of negotiations on a free trade agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).”

Mr. Ambassador expressed confidence that the free trade agreement will provide more opportunities not only for business circles, but also enable people from various fields to interact with each other through culture, art, sports, education and tourism.
