All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government and the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly signed a Cooperation Agreement

Chairman of the Board of the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government Ivan Tsetsersky and Secretary General of the International Union of Non-Governmental Organizations "Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly" Andrey Belyaninov signed a cooperation agreement. The signing took place on April 28 within the All-Russian Municipal Forum.

The interaction of the organizations will be aimed at deepening partnership relations between the peoples of different countries, joint implementation of socially significant programs, projects and cultural and educational events in international cooperation.

"Taking into account the increasing role of integration processes on the Eurasian continent, striving to strengthen friendship and partnership of the peoples of different countries, we have agreed with the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government to promote the development of international relations on the basis of versatile cooperation and cultural values, exchange experience, hold working meetings," - Andrei Belyaninov said.

According to Ivan Tsetsersky, within the agreement, it is also planned to hold joint events, including forums, scientific and practical conferences, round tables, meetings, seminars, discussion platforms and others, to provide organizational and informational support to these events, to inform the public about ongoing joint projects.

The All-Russian Municipal Forum was held on April 28 in Moscow. It is timed to celebrate the Day of Local Self-Government in Russia. The event was attended by representatives of the Presidential Administration, the Government of the Russian Federation, senators, deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, heads of ministries and departments, as well as experts in local self-government, representatives of the municipal community from all over the country.

The forum was organized by the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government.
